Spotify may be “too big to fail”, according to Billboard magazine, but the clock is ticking as the company hatches its plans to go public.
A look at some of the images from this week’s world of showbiz.
Our day kicked off with a presentation at the famed Russian Tea Room–filled with caviar, champagne, cheetah print and pearls. What brand other than Kate Spade New York could have such an eclectic mix? From a pearl emblazoned glove to an adorable mock-Matryoshka doll as a clutch, here are our favorite accessories from Kate Spade.
What’s cheaper than a diamond but shines just as bright? Metallic nail polish, obviously. But to help you minimize the stress of picking a shade (legitimately the hardest decision you will ever make at a salon, mind you), we reached out to a few of our favorite brands and got the scoop on a few of their best-selling metallic polish bottles. No shocker here, rose gold made the ultimate appearance.
When it comes to designers and their muses, there’s just no other OTP (that’s internet-speak for one true pairing, btw) like Rihanna and Adam Selman. Let’s flashback to the moment of all moments: Rihanna blessing us by arriving at the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards in a sheer fishnet Adam Selman creation, hand-embellished with more than 216,000 Swarovski crystals–but I mean, how could we ever forget?
Now flash forward to 2017 and Selman’s ready-to-wear show, in which denim and disco dominated the runway. Also roses. Lots and lots of roses. So it goes without saying (but we just can’t help ourselves), we need Rihanna in more Adam Selman. We need it like fish need water! Like Earth needs the Sun! Like Kanye needs Kanye.
From relaxed suits to more glitzy-sheer moments, here are the Adam Selman looks we dream of seeing Rihanna in.
And RiRi, I’m speaking directly to you now: consider this gallery your next shopping guide.

You guys: This is the new It-girl sneaker to break into the street-style scene. Correction: The new old sneaker. The Vans Old Skools first made their debut in 1977 as the skater brand’s low-top design, featuring the now-iconic “jazz stripe.” Forty years later (it’s their anniversary year!), not much has changed, other than garnering worldwide recognition, finding a place in fashion through collabs (Marc Jacobs, for one), and now, supplying footwear to some of the chicest people in the world with its beloved design.
Seeing as this is how most trends begin these days, it first started with flock of street-style stars, then the celebrities, and soon, it’ll be you. Scroll through to see which A-listers have already taken to the classic Old Skools, and shop a pair for yourself.
VIDEO: Spring Fashion Trends We’re Looking Forward to in 2017
It may not officially be winter yet, but with the dropping temperatures, it sure feels like it. We’ve been breaking out our parkas this week, and it seems we’re not the only ones doing so, with plenty of celebs spotted bundling up for frigid weather in cozy sweaters, furry coats, and plush beanies.
Gigi Hadid was seen out and about on Monday clad in a black-and-white striped coat from Victoria Beckham over a pair of black jeans, black sunnies from Karen Walker, Freda Salvador booties, and a thick, ivory sweater featuring a high turtleneck that not only protected her neck from the N.Y.C. chill but half of her face as well (get a similar sweater from Revolve). She’s definitely rocking a Hamburglar-meets-surgeon vibe, thanks to the coat’s stripes combined with the turtleneck pulled up over her face like a hospital mask.

While we love the clothing, models, and new styles that emerge during Fashion Week, one of our favorite parts of the epic week has nothing to do with the show, but everything to do with the celebrities who watch from the sidelines, specifically from the front row. From A-list celebrities like Diane Kruger and Kirsten Dunst at the Dior Haute Couture runway show to fashionista and all-around It-girl Olivia Palermo making her way to almost every major show this month, there’s a reason why front-row seating is so coveted and so fun to scope out.
Plus, the celebs who do get that front row ticket put on their most stylish outfits for the show–they know they’re being photographed and obviously want to look their best. From sexy sequined gowns to edgy pantsuits, front row-style is versatile and can be unpredictable, but always leaves us in awe.
